Little Things {July}...

July flew by! Here are just a few little moments I had on my phone...

I was blessed to get to spend a few days with these (and more not pictured) awesome young women at our Ward girls camp. Translation...Cory is a saint;) It was a blast- we giggled, ate and hiked to Boulder Lake. I love being in Youmg Womens! But I was sure ready to see my sweet family by the end.

We planted a garden at our new property and since we don't have the water set up yet we are having to water by pumping water from the drain ditch. It is certainly not the best method...but it made for some fun muddy garden time.  Plus the kids love catching tadpoles while I water!

One day I made a flower crown for Ellie while we were at the garden. She loved it. I love her. She's a bit of a free spirit! No clothes, no shoes and her hair running wild!

One of our favorite things we have done this summer is drive up to Second Fork above Ola and then ride our bikes down the dirt road behind the truck. I LOVE riding bikes and so do the kids. Brig is so fast that I usually am trailing far behind him!

We always love going to see the animals at the small county fair. Jase was especially taken this year. We even convinced him to give one goat a little smooch!!!

Jase met a new friend. Her name is Oakley and he loved her!! We didn't realize until this moment just how much he LOVES babies! He wouldn't let her go!

One particularly rough day, I decided that I needed a time out. So despite Jase's screaming, I locked myself in my bedroom. The kids have an uncanny ability to hear a door close in the house so they rushed to help Jase out- who was crying outside my door. So I waited for ten minutes as they tried everything they could think of to unlock the door. They didn't even call out for me because they were so set on their task. After I had a bit of cool down time, I opened the door and found Brig finishing up this not that he was going to pass into me...just so k knew that Jase was sad. I am inside the room. I think this picture is one of my favorites. It's hilarious and shows one of the nitty gritty parts of motherhood!

  1. Time out for mommies are good things. The sad note is so sweet!
