Snake charmer that is. Check this boy out!

 

 

 They found several water snakes in the rocks behind our house!

 

 

This is a video of Ellie a few weeks ago when we were outside catching worms...she didn't really like them and although she was napping, I believe she would say the same thing about the snakes.  I agree!

Aunt Ponka (Monica) gave the kids some really awesome ukuleles from Hawaii...where she has been chillin for the past year.  Brig and Grandpa decided to put on a little show for everyone. 

 

In the second video, Brig sings "The Tow Truck Song." He "wrote" this himself and sings it all the time.  It is so cute and seems to give him a little more confidence.  A couple months ago he performed it for all the kids and teachers in my parents ward in nursery.  It was suprising that he did that but oh so cute!

 

 

 

 

Wintertime...

So often, we watch family videos and by the end Cory or I will usually say...

 

I miss summer.

 

Well, I strive to be an optimist.

 

And I think that winter has some great things to offer as well! So, I decided that I would make a little video showcasing just a few of our happy, warm, winter memories!

(I also really want to be as awesome at making movies as my friend...so I decided to start practicing!I still have a ways to go...)

When We're Helping, We're Happy...

 

Apparently, the Primary song had it right! Because even though we have had a day full of sibling squabbles- they pulled together for a super sweet little moment of helping each other. Brig had been doing some "modern art" and had about 20 cans of beans all over the kitchen floor and when I asked him to clean it up...Ellie jumped right in too! She would hand him the can and he would put it away. They did all the cans and didn't complain once. Melt me:)

 

A Red-Hot Halloween...

This fall has been pretty crazy so far. We (when I say we, I really mean Cory) has been working NON-STOP on our house.  The remodel is coming along- slowly but surely. We will all be so happy when it is over. It is really looking good and Cor is doing so awesome. We did take a little time for some Halloween festivities...

Cory & I were smoke and fire (I tired to put flames on my shirt) because "smoke follows beauty... and I'm one hot mama!"

I know...that is pretty vain- especially when I look like I have a crazy lazy eye and Cor looks pleased as punch about it all!

Ellie and Brig were really the main attraction though...

I mean check out the cutest Dalmation and her Fireman ever!!!

Brig's firetruck was pretty awesome- thanks for the help Grandpa Madsen!

Ellie was such a cute little dalmation...for some reason the little nose just melted me!

Notice how tired Cory looks! Oh- we sure are thankful for such an awesome dad! The kids were pretty excited that I kept saying yes to all the candy they wanted to eat!!!!! WAHOOOOO!

Kinda...

So the other day, Brig was pulling Ellie around in this box and she would just laugh and when he would stop she would start saying "fass, fass, fass!"  It was so cute and they did it for like 20 minutes!!! He was such a great big brother:) I love seeing them have fun together...however I only "kinda" captured their fun in this video...that's how it always goes with the cutest moments. C'est la vie!

 

 

Rocks in the Water and the ANGRY EYES!!! BrigTV

Brig absolutely LOVES throwing rocks in the water.  We have a little irrigation ditch in front of our house and he constantly wants to be out there tossing gravel into the water.  He is that desparate for water...just like his dad. (Cory loves to be near water too and wants to live on the river someday...well by it).

The best part about this video is you may get a little glimpse of the ANGRY EYES!!! Brig does them on command and they are pretty hilarious. 

He is getting so big and so much fun.  We can't wait for the fun times this summer will bring!

{UP}

Here are some of the things we have been {UP} to lately...

{UP} at Aaronic Priesthood camp. This is Cory's calling in our church (he organizes a big camp for the young men in our stake)- it's a big job, but the camp was a great success! Here are the boys catching some fish with their hands...

Catching {UP} on LOST...we got hooked right as the series was ending and now we have to figure out what in the world is going on on this crazy island!

Loading {UP} my camera with pictures of these lovely ladies...I got to be the "official photographer" for the Miss Gem County pageant. It was so much fun-and the girls did great!

That's right...Brigs is living up to the name...he is starting to walk!

Here is a little video of our handsome little Walker... (excuse the mess...we just got back from camping...like I said, more on that later)

To celebrate Brig being a whopping 2 months old...here is the first episode ever of "Brig TV". Enjoy!

Brig is happiest in the morning. If we are lucky then he will smile for us...if we are really lucky he may sing a little "song" for us. The other day I was driving home from my mom's house and I was singing to him on the ride home and the entire drive home he was helping me sing. It was really cute.
