Any Ideas?

I teach the Sunbeams in our ward and they are really fun...however, sometimes we have a little bit of a struggle with reverence. Our lesson is on reverence this next Sunday and I am wanting to do something that will really instill in them how important it is to be reverent in Church. There are A LOT of them... anywhere from 8-13 each week. So...does anyone have any really good ideas? Something that will stick with them? Thank you!

Also...here are some more pictures of Brig! We are all getting into the swing of things. I think that he has a more serious personality...it is like pulling teeth to get him to smile but when he does, it sure is cute! I am sure it is because he is going to be exceptionally brilliant...I guess you can't have it all :)

  1. Hey Megan,
I am in the same boat. I have 6 sunbeams but it feels like 13...Three of the them give me a run for my money each week (so much so that they have to give me an assistant and its still a struggle). Have you checked sugardoodle.net. They usually have some cute ideas. Let me know if you come up with anything good.

  9. I'm Kelly's sister. You have a really cute blog. I was a primary teacher for a while and I don't know if it will work for sun beams but I brought blue painters tape to class and had the kids put it over their mouths while i read stories to them. I also had a little treat for those who were reverent and kept their tape on the whole story. They liked it so much they kept it on the whole class time. Their parents thought it was great when they came out wearing tape! Soon they were trained to sit quietly during story time and I didn't need the tape. Just a suggestion. Good Luck!
