(The title should be read like off of the movie The Polar Express.... "THE FIRST GIFT OF CHRISTMAS!")
I think the first time we get to go to Willow Creek and catch fish is about as exciting as Christmas for some members of our family...
see what I mean:
Cory LOVES Willow Creek and this year when Brig helped reel in a fish- he was equally as excited!
He wasn't even scared at all to touch it...last year he was a bit nervous about actually holding the fish. But he had no problem throwing this little bitty guy back to his watery home!
This his how our quick little trips to Willow Creek go...
Cory gets a fire going, helps Brig (or me) catch a fish or two, puts our dinners on the fire, sets up our chairs and blankets and makes sure everything is dandy...then he gets all geared up and goes and does a bit of serious- wading through water- climbing over rocks- avoid all the tangly bushes and trees kind of fishing while we play in the water.
Sometimes, while he is gone- we take a few really flattering/charming pictures...
Then he comes back and we enjoy some kind of culinary masterpiece such as this lovely entree:
(seriously though...food always tastes better in the mountains- it was delish!)
Brig loved our "camping food"
We sure love being together!
So fun! I think you should spell it Willow "Crick" so that everyone pronounces it correctly. You guys have a beautiful family!
