Cameras
I am wanting to buy a good digital SLR camera before the baby comes. First and foremost I just want lots of pictures of our little "punkin" (Cory just LOVES it when I call him that!) I would also like to maybe get to the point where I could take some photos for other people- nothing huge just a little here and there. I think that would be so fun. So I have been asking people for advice on what camera to get and I have gotten some great help from some great people-- who know what they are talking about! I like to get as much input as possible before I make a purchase like this...so- what should I do... Canon or Nikon.... so far I have more pros for Canon so...50D or one of the Rebel series? Anyone who knows anything about DSLRs- I would love input!

WE have a Nikon D50 and LOVE it! They don't make it anymore, but Richards dad and brothers just got the D80 and have loved them too. they are big, so not easy to put in your purse but they are so fast you don't have to have them hold a pose to get a cute shot. You are more than welcome to look at ours. We are thinking we need a camcorder to catch the little guys in motion.
ReplyDeleteLove my Canon Rebel XTi but either will probably be great!! There are some super little ones out there now too. Some have 10 mp and they can go anywhere you go. Also some handy little video recorders - only the size of a cell phone. cool stuff!! You can never take too many photos!!!

If you wait until the 18th Grandma Laura (& my Kasey) will have a great birthday present!!! We will be anxious to hear the news!!!
