As many people have heard, Cory was diagnosed with the West Nile Virus last year. If you don't know very much about it, here is a link with a little more information. He has had two serious "relapes" since he has had the virus. They are pretty severe and he can't do much for a little over a week. Thankfully, he has not had one since right after we were married. However, whenever he is really run down or does not get enough sleep then the symptoms start to show up. His symtopms include high fevers (caused from swelling of his brain), nausea, and extreme fatigue. Ice packs and ibuprofen have become his best friends! He has also lost quite a bit of weight and has a weakened immune system. He is pretty tough though and endures them well considering how painful they can be. Hopefully it will recess for good and we will get to be fat and happy! And a word from the wise...use mosquito repellent!
