Little Things {MAY & JUNE}...

{When Jase waves he rotates he whole hand at the wrist. He always has done this and it is so sweet!}

 

{Ellie accidentally rolled up the window and Jase's head was in it...it made him bite his lip and he got a pretty big fat lip. It was so sad looking! Luckily it didn't do any serious damage.}

 

 

{Cory and his brother/brother-in-law helped his parents load their hay at their house. I believe it is called bucking haybales. And I made him wear his cowboy hat so that while I drove the truck...that's right me. Driving a truck pulling a trailer. Through a field...I could stare at him ;)}

 

 

{Brig is our early bird. And by early I mean 7:00. (We believe in sleeping in!) He is such a good kid and wakes up and goes into the living room and plays with Legos or some other toy until the rest of us join the living. We try to convince him that he needs to sleep a little longer but I think he is just so excited to start playing with his toys that as soon as the sun peeks through his window- he's up! He has recently started to get Jase out of bed and take care of him also!}

 

 

{Grandma and Grandpa Walker took three of the granddaughters to watch the Miss Gem County Pageant and then get a milkshake.  And I snuck my way into their fun little date to watch as well. I had to. The girls loved it!}

 

 

{Cory is pretty good about trying to get some one-on-one time in with the kids. This time he took Ellie on a ride in the tractor. When he came back he said..."She can't grow up. She can never get married." I think she stole his heart even more on their little drive!}  

 

{This was monumental. Jase hadn't been into books until this picture below...I think it goes back to that one-on-one time. He loved getting some uninterrupted, unchallenged dad time in while his brother and sister were at a birthday party one Saturday. He now is quite a fan of books...as long as he is the one on my lap as we read.} 

 

 

{Ellie loves chocolate milk. Nesquik to be exact. Maybe we should say that she loves Nesquik with some milk in it. She won't even touch regular milk anymore. She is in good company with her Grandma Walker and Aunt Leslie and Aunt Krista...it's genetic!}

 

 

{I LOVE family pictures. Love em! I would sneak one in every single Sunday if it wasn't a mad dash to get to church and then a reenactment of the Hunger Games when we got home. But this particular Sunday we went to church with my parents and it was Mother's Day... so everyone HAD to indulge me!}

 

 

{Since we bought some new property and sold our house, it seems like we were at the title company quite often in the last little while. And it also seems like Cory would forget that we like sleeping in when he would schedule them. So one of the times that we had our entire family at a signing...all the kids still in their jammies... Jase was given a chocolate kiss. On the way home he must have dropped it and it sat nestled in his little neck all the way home.}
