Brig learned how to ride a little tricycle this weekend...it may seem like a pretty normal thing but I couldn't believe how exciting it was for us all! That small things sure did big things to my heart!!!
Our little boy is getting so big...I am not sure how I feel about this!
So, as I watched this little man pedal away...I realized there are some pretty substantial lessons to be learned here...
Like no matter what-- the only way to move forward is to push hard and just keep pedaling!
And sometimes, you fall.
And it hurts. And it's a bit scary to get back on.
But you have people you love- but most importantly people who love you right back beside you cheering you on and helping you get back on.
And that no matter how much life can sting...you can always find joy in the journey!
Good job Brig! He did so well...and as much as I would like to keep my Brigsey Boy little...I am so excited to see all the exciting things he gets to do in this life of his!
So cute Megan. I never thought I would want my bo to stay little, but watching him get bigger everyday is certainly bittersweet.
ReplyDeleteHey brax has the same bike!!!(5 bucks on CL;). Seriously, so bittersweet, every time brax does something new, I feel like a little school girl being so overjoyed about it, probably more excited than he is most of the time;). See you guys in a couple weeks!
