Little Things {September}...

^^Ellie and I had some girl time when we went to a baby shower together. She is my little shadow and my little BFF!^^

^^Ellie also wants to be a mom so much and assumes that role to her little brother. She is always kissing him and asking him if she can hold him, even though he is almost as big as her. And Jase is usually quite compliant.^^

^^I let Ellie put makeup on one day when we weren't really going anywhere important. She loved it and everyone she saw thought she had two black eyes. Cory is not a fan of this look:)^^

^^I love these moments. When they are all getting along and love being together. ^^

\
^^Cory shot a deer with his bow this year. And I don't think anyone was more excited than Brig. In fact, he kind of lived vicariously though Cory. We were able to be there when he shot it (we missed the actual shot...which I was totally ok with) but Brig was scoping the deer out and saying how many yards he was from it (he said 30 but we were actually probably over 150 from it!) and then he shot his little pretend bow and then said "oh man! If I had time to sight in my bow I would have gotten it!" It was adorable. He then helped Cory with the entire "after" process...and loved it. ^^

^^Brig made a rope swing in our front yard with a stuffed snake and my robe tie. Through the years, these have consistently been some of the most played with items in our house. He loves them! And I love when they play together outside and use their imaginations!^^
^^Soaking up the warm fall days. It was such a nice fall and we were able to get outside quite a bit!^^

^^One of Cory's good friends let him use his password and access his TV on his phone. This translates into...Cory now gets to watch football at home! Every once in a while when we are getting ready to go to sleep, I will look over and see this sight.^^

^^Brig and Ellie are sometimes both away at school so Jase becomes my little errand buddy. He especially loves to go to the Post Office and try to open every. single. box. It is pretty endearing...and helps me be a little more patient.^^
^^Like I said, we have had a warm fall and one day it was so nice that the kids decided to make a lemonade stand. They made the lemonade, set up their stand- complete with a sign, figured out how much they were going to charge and then waited. I think we need to teach them a thing or two about the importance of location...our house is not conducive to such business ventures! Where there is a will there is a way though...they resorted to phone advertising and made a couple calls to some generous clients (dad and grandma) and still ended up making about $2.00. The entrepreneurial fire is burning bright in these kiddos!^^
^^One day while we were at Cory's parents house watching  a football game (obviously it was one that needed to be seen on a little bigger screen than his phone has to offer) I decided to sew a little apron for Ellie. Then Brig and Ellie decided they wanted to sew something too- so Grandma took them on her lap and helped them. It was pretty sweet.^^

^^Enjoying the river in the fall. And these two little peas in a pod.^^

^^When I am pregnant, I get some pretty strong cravings. I also have been watching cooking shows after the kids go to bed if Cory is at church meetings. Put those together and I have some pretty strange late night snacks. This fried egg was just one of many!^^

^^I love watching these three interact...I prefer when they do so happily...and when we are outside doing something fun as a family it almost always is. They have their fishing pole that they brought along one day when we were all fishing...obviously they didn't catch very much;)^^
