One of my favorite things about Cory is how much he loves the be in "the wild." He is so good about coming home and saying, "Let's go for a hike." or "Let's head up to willow creek...the sun is out."
And it makes the kids eyes sparkle to go on his little adventures...
So after being cooped up all winter- when he sees even the slightest sign of sunshine or warmth...we will head outdoors!
On this particular day, we wanted to go expolore our new favorite hiking area...that is SUPER close and have a little fire.
But since I hadn't been grocery shopping in a while, we had to improvise as far as what we could roast...so I found some really hard old Halloween candy- starbursts and tootsie rolls- and we stuck them on sticks and badda bing badda boom...camping food:)
The kids loved it...and we only let them have a couple and they were good.
I am so grateful for so many beautiful places to explore and such beautiful people to explore with!
