I had a doctor appointment today.
I am 36 weeks and 3 days...to be exact:)
I am dialated to a 4 and 85% effaced.
Whoa.
I could (and did with Brig) walk around like this for a couple weeks.
Doc doesn't think I will make it to my due date.
Arrival of Little Miss is right around the corner.
Ready or Not.
Call me crazy but I am a tad bit more frightened to do this whole birth and newborn thing for the second time!!!! AGHHHH
Now...call me bipolar because I am also quite excited to meet our Little Miss we have been waiting for. YAYYYY!
YAY! We thought we were going to have a baby at 36 weeks too! Turned out to be a kidney stone:) I have been dilated to a 3 and completely effaced for nearly 4 weeks now. But I feel TONS better, and feel like I can actually stand to wait till this little guy shows up. Maybe we will have the same baby birthdays in September!!! I will be thinking of you everyday this month! Hang in there, just spend the next 3 days getting EVERYTHING ready, and you will feel a lot better. These things include but are not limited too: Detailing the car, cleaning carseat, folding and preparing all newborn clothes, packing all hospital/overnight bags for both you and cory, and little brig, preparing the basinette by your bedside, organizing closet space for two kids, doing all laundry, cleaning house, deep clean bathroom, making sure you have clean towels, stock up on macaroni or foods that don't take long to prepare for brig after baby is born, diapers, wipes, SOCKS, (these are just a few of things we did for the 3 days straight after I was in the hospital for labor and got sent home because I hadnt progressed past a 3...what a great firedrill!) We are READY now! And I feel SOOOOO much better. Goodluck chica!
ReplyDeleteYeah! Woohoo! Can't wait to see her, too. And you're not crazy. I totally get more nervous for labor and delivery the more kids I have, too. Hope that you're feeling good!
